I	Ilya Makarov on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect place for romantic dinner, very small and unique restaurant with only a few tables. Menu, is unique and interesting, BUT extremely complicated to understand, very confusing. Food is interesting and good opportunity to try different Portuguese cuisine, but most of the dishes were very bland very little seasoning. Allow yourself at least 2 hours to enjoy all the courses. Definitely worth the money and new experience!

The menu was excellent (every single dish was absolutely delicious), the service was extremely attentive and kind, and the decor was great. There is not a single negative aspect to this restaurant - just go. Idk what you’re doing still hesitating. Also, while fine dining experiences usually left me a bit disappointed as I was still hungry by the end of the meal, their menu was very copious and satisfying. Thank you!

It was such a lovely, unique experience; you can tell Sara and her team put so much thought, care and passion into the concept, the food and their service. We had requested a pescatarian option when we booked (not knowing the menu is designed to be shared) and they went above and beyond to ensure what they offered would make both my partner and I happy. We would highly recommend Emotivo!

In any case, we ended up with dishes typical of the Azores islands. They were hearty and intriguingly delicious! The red wine pairing was outstanding. AMBIENCE: 8. Simple but pretty. Typical old school Portuguese Fado music set the mood. COMMENTS: Delightful and delicious! Beautiful, cozy, fine dining restaurant with a fixed price menu. Our server was Diego. Very helpful with wine choices.

We started the meal with a “game” as well. All of the food was so well made with deliberate thought, which made It a truly unique experience. Our region was Duoro and my favorite dishes were the soup and the goat. A must try for authentic Portuguese regional cuisine!

Sara is an amazing chef and the rest of the team is also great. We felt welcomed like family and got to know Portuguese cuisine better. Definitely want to come back to try the other regional menus.
