★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awful experience although the staff was helpful and did their best. I signed a ficha de reserva believing that I didn't commit to buying an apartment without signing the promise to buy (CPCV), but realised that no matter the conditions I was forced to buy it.
It was said to be ten minutes from a train station. Google maps showed 18-20 minutes. The size was much smaller than advertised. We had to threaten to sign livro de reclamações to get our check back.
Instead of ten percent of the loan as entrada, we were supposed to pay almost 4000 more. These money was supposed to go to making refurbishments in the apartment.
I want to warn everyone to not sign anything with this real estate agent before you are one hundred percent certain. Even then I would discourage you.
As if this was not enough. The document we signed was different and had changed conditions. This had been changed when the conditions was approved by the seller.
They took advantage off that I'm not from Portugal and made me sign a document that was with really bad conditions.
The worst experience I could imagine when I was trying to buy.
