I got bitten by shepherd’s dog, it was very scary and I was bleeding. The receptionist helped me to clean the injury, called the doctor, found out that the dog was at least vaccinated. The Shepherd didn’t even say I’m sorry or try to help me, horrible and dangerous what happened in the place with so many tourists. Please be careful and when you see or hear goats turn around and go other direction, don’t run though.

L	Lu cas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Host with good recommendations for hiking. We visited two waterfalls! The place is really clean and the hot showers a super nice. The campsite is beautiful, if walk upstairs you have a beautiful view of the mountains. Many thanks, we will come again!

L	Lorenzo Bordonaro on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overcrowded and very badly organised. The owners are attempting to stuff as many people as possible in tiny and uncomfortable spaces. Cars are allowed but have basically no space to park or even to turn around. Last but not least, upon our arrival the man at the entrance told us which camping areas were available: after we settled down and put up our tent, when it was dark already and we were preparing our dinner, someone from the organisation came and told us that we had to move, because that space was the parking place of another tent. They were harsh and unreasonable, and they didn't even admit their own error. Absolutely not suggested, there are many other caping sites in Geres much much better. Choose another one.
S	S W on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was the best camping place we've visited in portugal. You've got everything you need in a great condition. Washing rooms, a place to wash your dishes and laundry, a clothes line, a wood hammer to get in your tent hooks and a snack bar. On the womens toiled we also had toilet paper - never had that on any camping place. Very very friendly staff and service. We could park pur car right next to our tent. And you don't pay when you check in, you pay when you check out. As one of the staff said "Stay one day, two days, 20 days, just tell us when you leave" ? It was right in the middle of the national park. But be prepared, it gets really cold in the night. We paid for 1 car, 1 tent and 2 people/night 20 euros. We stayed for 2 days.
