I saw this school in action as a tourist climbing in cascais. I saw their preparation and set up while they were teaching rappelling i guess. I was impressed with the care they had put into the anchor and the rope protection. I have seen much worse set ups with other climbing areas. I hope that this commercial school maintains and keeps access to the area open and available.

One of the great places to climb in Portugal. By the sea, covered from the wind most of the days is a great place to climb for beginners and more experienced climbers. The access to the East crags is a bit rough, so travel with your hands free. Roughly 98 routes, from III to 7c+ (maybe a little higher). The routes aren't too high, probably 25/30 m at most (rough guess). The majority could be around 15/20. Short but intense! =) Stay until the end of the day, and check the sunset ;)
