★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The thing about Escondidinho is that they don't have fancy food with cloth napkins. They make wholesome food, simple and tasty. And they do it really cheap. Almost guaranteed to cost you less than 15€ which makes it perfect for going there with a group (book beforehand).

I will be bringing friends and family back to experience this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surely one of our best memories in Lisbon as a couple. Outstanding quality of the food, fresh fish and homemade meals. Very good service, very chill music, peaceful ambiance. There you can enjoy typical food for the best prices possible in town. It’s definitely a place that should be better known by tourists. And if it’s not already enough, the owner is a lovely person that could tell you stories from the very creation of the family restaurant, in the 50’s.
