Not only is he a top notch pilot with 20 years of experience, he has also been teaching most of that time, and truly understands how you learn and how to teach this sport safely. If you are just coming for a tandem, look no further. It's harder to imagine someone safer, calmer, or more experienced. As for the course, it's really an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended.

The level of expertise, not only around a paraglider but also at the different flying sites in Portugal is unparalleled, and very obvious when other instructors and experienced pilots look for Ricardo’s input at launch. While most of my training has been spent with Ricardo, Jonathan has always been watchful and provided many inputs and feedback that has helped make my learning process easier. Not only are they great instructors but they also have a strong passion for the sport and for flying themselves which becomes a critical part for making the training fun. Even with this approach, safety and security of everyone involved, is paramount for them and concerns and feedback are always addressed immediately to ensure issues are corrected on the spot. I am very happy with my decision of coming to Espiral for my certification and plan to continue trusting them for my advanced ratings. Thanks guys!!!

Since then, I grew up and evolved as a pilot into a more advanced level through Espiral courses and clinics. Besides the great guidance and huge respect for safety, Ricardo is not only a great instructor to beginners but also a talented coch able to see , explain and motivate experienced pilots to overcome themselves.
