ESSENCIA ARCHITECTS is an architectural firm based in Algarve, Portugal, founded in October 2012 by architects Jenny Marcos and Ricardo Galego Silva (1960-2021), bringing together the knowledge, the experience and the passion for all aspects of architecture.

Understanding the role of architecture as an essential part of humanity, an essential part of our everyday lives, the way it influences who we are, how we feel and how we live our lives is at the base of our work. Designing spaces, no matter how big or how small, that contribute to a better, more balanced lifestyle is their goal.

Because architecture is an essential part of all our lives, it influences who we are, how we feel and how we live our lives. At work, at home, at school, while we are on holidays, in a public garden or at a shopping mall,… it is always there.

At ESSENCIA ARCHITECTS we look at the bigger picture, conscious that our projects condition the lives of so many people on a daily basis. For this reason we are focused on designing spaces that contribute to a better, more balanced lifestyle.

Architecture and Interior Design focused on what is essential, recognizing that we live in a world that is in constant evolution and which needs solutions that respond to the new challenges and the new realities which are right on our doorsteps.

Qualified consultants in the most diverse areas such as engineering, environment, sustainability and others are brought on board when necessary according to the needs of the project.

Our work has covered mainly the areas of hospitality, leisure, projects related to the golf sector, private luxury housing, commercial, service and also social equipment projects. But we never say no to a challenge and are always open to explore new sectors.
