The benches inside the stadium are very close to the pitch providing a nice football match atmosphere. The stairways that lead to the benches are very narrow and I, personally, consider danger for crowded games. There at not many places to park outside the stadium. Public transportations are recommended.

Been to this stadium a few times and everytime I was in attendance it was a blast, loads of fun. The fact that it is a compact stadium gives you a sense of warmth and intimacy with the team. Even if you are not a Boavista supporter you will find yourself cheering for them by the end of the first half. Don't go on games against big teams, as some of the Portuguese supporters act in less than in a gentle manner.

In need of much love both on and off the pitch. The stadium is a concrete early 2000s functional build . Football crowds are looking for more these days . Big screens hospitality ambiance a place to sit/drink and chat with friends. Bessa offers nothing more than a place to watch a game . An entertainment as drab as the teams kit I am affaid

Great stadium, big enough for Boavista F.C. Restaurants could have more variety, always run out of food when a big game is on.

I really enjoyed the tour. The guide was very friendly and well informed about the club. Very willing to answer all the questions we made.

They didn't reply to an e-mail sent ten days ago, ok could happen. Once arrived at the stadium, I went to the secretary office where they agreed to allow me in the stadium. I was happy until an old man who escorted me into, out of the blue, asked me for money. Cash was the only English word he knew, after few pictures taken in an embarassed silence, he then take me to the store but it was closed. I paid the same at Do Dragao and I've received an English guide plus a visit at the museum. Just saying. PS: The stadium is really beautiful and I don't blame the guy at the secretary desk who was really kind to me.
