★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy and comfortable. Very clean. Nice decor and ambience. Very friendly staff. My ankle sprained and I requested ice and the staff member gave me a while bagful. Also I requested hot water for tea and they brought the whole tray with electric kettle , mugs and assorted tea and coffee to the room. Definitely recommend it.

Unfortunately, we had an issue with our bed which was extremely creaky and producing noise on every turn. Was very hard to sleep. After talking to the stuff they have offered us another room but it also had a creaky bed (although a bit less).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time staying at an Exe and loved it! Great hospitality by the staff, and this location was perfect. The bathroom was beautiful, we loved how this old building was retrofit and still shows some of the old structures. Breakfast buffet has a wide selection, but definitely get there early for fresher pastries.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really want to recommend this hotel because it is clean, with very spacious rooms, excellent location, friendly staff and breakfast served from 7-11am!
My room was part of an easyJet package holiday for one person, so I was expecting a stuffy tiny room at the end of the corridor. End of the corridor it was, but huge super-king-size bed, big bathroom and massive shower. And, importantly, complete blackout curtains.
Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Charming and clean hotel room, did not find it noisy at all from street (excellent sound proofing), included a safe and minibar with reasonable prices. Had a lovely balcony door that opens to the street. We didn’t have breakfast in hotel, but it’s a great location for many trendy bars and restaurants. Used the gym (you can book slots to use) - pretty limited weights (doesn’t have proper clips on it as well) and no cleaning equipment in gym - so could improve on that. Overall we loved our stay!
