I just finished remodeling a kitchen with Fabri: POSITIVE: -Unlike the other stores I visited, which seemed to want to sell as many cabinets as possible, Fabri seemed genuinely interested in offering a kitchen that was above all functional and well-sized. -Fabri gave the most interesting ideas for the layout and many useful suggestions not only in the design phase but also in the monitoring of the work. -The staff I contacted personally seemed competent, polite and friendly -The final result was within expectations in terms of quality of materials and assembly. NEGATIVE: -The delivery and assembly phase was very hectic with several delays. The kitchen was only finished 85 days after the approval of the final project, almost double the 45 days foreseen. -Very poor communication in the delivery and assembly phase. Perhaps the biggest source of frustration in the entire process. -Various deliveries / collections on different days are difficult to manage for those who are not permanently on site. In one of them I was warned 30 minutes in advance. -Fabri subcontracts the assembly to third parties and does not carry out a pre-delivery inspection. This forces the customer to be the final quality inspector. In our case, the problems were resolved quickly but I think that, for what I paid, I shouldn't even have had to be upset with them. In summary, if I ever go back to the market to remodel a kitchen, I will definitely consult Fabri, but I will not sign any contract that does not have a very clear commitment with a deadline by which everything must be completed.

We went to the store to ask for a quote to remodel a kitchen, we explained what we wanted, the material, color etc, we took the baby food all made and they sent us a quote during the following week.... 3 months passed and nothing, if a simple budget with the baby food all done, they cannot fulfill what they have committed to so I imagine the delivery and assembly and monitoring of the work... The price is luxury and the service is low level. Too bad they missed a good sale.

I thought I wouldn't have to write this review but unfortunately here we are. We bought a kitchen from Fabri for roughly 30.000Eur so we were expecting a good service. The problems started after we left the deposit for the kitchen. Suddenly nothing was urgent anymore, the drawings had countless mistakes and it took ages to fix everything. Furthermore Margarida from the store went to the site without permission and gave some wrong instructions to the contractor. That was simply weird. Then we were told that Marta would fix the drawings. That lady was incredibly rude trying to force us to give up on the kitchen as we were "very problematic" and that she had a son and was working long hours without eating anything. Crazy. I'm a client I'm not your employer. In the end, Francisco the head of the company and the owner Emanuel came to remeasure the kitchen and we thought our problems had gone away. Many months had now gone by since paying the deposit which I thought wasn't very professional of Fabri when Fabri finally delivered the kitchen: they delivered all the cabinets unprotected and left them on the slab. We also requested everyting to be placed in a certain area but it wasn't. There was concrete still being applied in the area where it was left. We moved the cabinets ourselves with the exception of the real heavy ones that they came afterwards to move. Then a real professional showed up to assemble the kitchen Carlos Duarte. Polite, competent we were happy and thought nothing more would bother us but there were problems with the cabinets (their depth was too short leaving the fridge sticking too much outside), the leds were extremely strong white, the cabinets didn't meet the ceiling in full and one of the cabinets had to be cut in height because of a cardboard ceiling. It was a lot. The kitchen starting looking good but we were surprised that our contractor had to do a lot of the connections: plumbing, electricity way beyong the scope we thought would be reasonable. We were told things had to be in the wall not that our contractor would have to make all the connections from the appliances to the wall too. There was a lot of extra spending on the contractor because of this. Then came the day when the cabinets were ready and we just needed the Dekton tops to be installed. Fabri through Francisco starts with this conversation that they only sold the tops we had to book the crane to deliver them. I said that was unheard of. So after he threatened us saying he wouldn't deliver anything else I threated to sue Fabri and eventually he gave in. A lady called Joana was very helpful. She was trying to really help and was a key element in making the kitchen actually happen. So on the day the Dekton was installed Francisco had promised to be present as we were away on vacation but he wasn't. A company hired by Fabri called Primeira Pedra installed the 3 Dekton tops. When we arrived from vacation we were so excited to see the kitchen completed but couldn't believe what we saw. Primeira Pedra had done a gross incompetent job breaking certain sections of the White 4m Dekton Zenith and poorly fixing them with some grotesque grout and silicone. The two smaller black tops were like scratched. Everything was so dirty. We were appalled. I decided to call the head of Cosentino in Portugal, Luís, and he was very helpful. He arranged a meeting at the apartment between us, Fabri and Primeira Pedra. The people from Primeira Pedra were rude and said that nobody would do a better job than them. I told them that I had never seen such a terrible job and I had worked in some of the largest contractors in the country (I'm a civil engineer). The head of Cosentino afterwards said he was going to come up with a solution and he did. He got us a company called Belgrani that were incredible. The white top was assembled perfectly and it looks like a professional job. Thank you Belgrani. Fabri stopped answering. They never fixed the black tops or came here to do a quality check on the kitchen. The Smeg fridge smakes an awful noise. We don't recommend Fabri.
