About Faust - English Language and Culture Institute Ltd.
A FAUST - Instituto de Língua e Cultura iniciou a sua atividade em 1998 em Quarteira, tendo-se, desde logo, destacado pelos seus métodos inovadores aplicados por professores nativos.
Atualmente a única escola de línguas a atuar no concelho de Loulé, a Faust dedica-se ao ensino de diversas línguas, sendo o Inglês e o Português Língua Estrangeira (PLE) as mais procuradas.
Recentemente tem-se no entanto notado uma crescente procura do Francês e do Alemão que se justifica quer pelo aumento de residentes franceses no Algarve quer pelo aumento da emigração.

All lessons are available for understanding, we have full immersion in the language environment. I am now not afraid to speak Portuguese in Portugal. Thank you so much for the great teaching!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been studying with FAUST since 2017. Initially in Quarteira and on my return home I have been studying using Skype. Due to a busy schedule I'm only taking a few hours per month. However, I'm now at a level where my teacher speaks to me in the same way she would to another Portuguese person (that's progress).
On my next visit to Portugal, I will insist on speaking only Portuguese and claim not to know English.
My teacher and the office staff are very professional and very amicable. I enjoy communicating in my beginners Portuguese with them.
Studying with FAUST is time, money and effort well spend and I fully and unreservedly recommend both the institute and the staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent teacher. Highly effective method for learning quickly how to listen and understand basics while only using Portuguese and body language. Teacher was enthusiastic, professional, hard-working and maintained a high standard throughout (while students ‘dropped’ off).
If you quickly want a solid foundation in Portuguese then Faust language school is an excellent investment.
