We had the Portuguese steak and the Fernando's special. Both of these were amazing.
Staff were really friendly and when I'm back I will be eating here again. obrigada

Waiting an hour in a half empty restaurant is not normal though, especially when the dishes are 2 steaks (bitoque), piri piri chicken and frozen fries (I highly doubt those are homemade)... Those dishes are supposed to be easy and fast to prepare? Go in this restaurant with more patience than hunger... Dishes were tasty and the quantity appropriate.

The people of the restaurant are so kind.
The food is very fresh, cooked and served with love. The arroz mariscos is extremely good. We went 2 times during our few days.
Don’t expect hip & happening. The location gives you the feeling you’re local.
Absolute a big recommendation!

A small family run restaurant with brilliant service and the best food. If you visit Quarteira then you must go for a meal at Fernando's hideaway or you haven't been to Qurateira!

Amazing service, the kind where they anticipate your needs, that says a lot to me!!!!
After 3 days in Madrid needed decent Actual Foooood, and Fernando's exceeded our expectations!! Fresh, perfectly cooked vegetables, fish was impeccable. Chicken curry was tender and flavourful. I mean even the coffee was Great, not burnt. Not one bad word to say. Just thank you for a lovely, highly needed experience
