★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an amazing meal at Restaurante Fidalgo. The service was excellent and welcoming. We enjoyed our food and the Vino Verdhe that accompanied it. We will definitely visit this restaurant when we next visit Lisbon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent restaurant with simple dishes. Although I've expected more for the price. My veal escalope dish came with zero vegetables. Place is very small and therefore very quiet. Lots of wines to choose from.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden gem in Barrio Alto. Small place, you could easily walk past it. But if you like a great evening of wine, that would be a missed opportunity. The owner is exactly what you want: an honest man who just wants you to have a great evening and let you taste great local wines. The place scaled down in the size of their menu due to staff shortages, but the tapas are amazing and you should definetly order the octopus with white beans. The owner helps you to find the wine that you would like to taste, is not interested in selling you the most expensive ones. A great place to go for a lovely wine evening.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were here with nine people and ordered 8 dishes - each and every one of them was fantastic - we all left the place as happier people. After Covid i want to come back and give a big hug to the chef (a female artist of top calibre if you ask me)

The host and owners were kind enough to serve us right before they closed. We’re so jet lagged that we didn’t have a sense of time.
However, the food tasted so well.
We got the Fried cod-fish croquettes, chicken croquettes, fried shrimp and Octopus rice and beans.
The croquettes could use some sauce on the side but overall everything was great. The octopus rice and beans was perfect.
