★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an amazing place. Cooking with wood fire ain't that normal nowadays, and certainly there's a deep science to it. At fogo, as the name would suggest they clearly nailed that science.
The food quality and dishes execution was spotless as you would expect from this kind of restaurant. Please don't skip the bread ?
The decoration is also incredibly beautiful and clearly adds a lot to the open kitchen experience. Again expected, but still able to impress.
Now onto the service and the restaurant vibe.
One word: unpretentious
That was not expected, the vibe is amazing and the waiters seem to have mind reading habilities.
From the background rock music from the 90s, to the familiar and relaxed communication you'll be able to enjoy your meal and experience like you were at some friends house, and that's saying a lot.
Excellent job Fogo's team, keep psushing it to the flames and never change !

Both our waiters (our main waiter was Mr. Elvas) were very attentive- they almost read all our wishes right from our minds.
Exceptional service and kitchen!
I‘d definitly recommend this restaurant- they made our NY unforgettable!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fabulous culinary experience of made on fire! Every dish leaves you yearning for more. The service is excellent and with great humour. The chef, Alexendre Silva, is worth watching from the spectator seats at the dining bar!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place to Eat in a very nice environment. Excellent food ( both fish and Meat). Exquisite service. I was about to put 4 stars because they do not have gluten free bread and the prices are maybe a bit to high but as the food is the most important I rate 5. Definitely a place to go

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food and experience is exceptional. Because it's cooked on an open fire, real wood burn, it takes extra skills and time to prepare. And it can be a little unpredictable at times. Think of it as a real, pure art of cooking. The artisan among artisans. If you want to try something really extraordinary, then definitely pay a visit.

The staff was really welcoming and we had a laugh about that I got a reservation even though I was there at 19:00 when they opened on a Thursday, so didn't really need it. The food was great, had some bread and a tartar for starters and lamb for main. Got a good wine tip for the main. The price was fair, had a Gin Tonic and a glass of red to drink and it ended up at around €55.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service and food. Highly recommend the scarlet shrimp and oysters. The food were refined but still came with rustic charm from the wood fire. The staff makes very good wine recommendation. I will visit again.
