One of the best lessons I've had. The instructors drove us to an ideal beach for beginners and unlike other places we spent little time on the sand and got straight on with it. The technique the instructors use to position you in the water in the break gets you up and standing very quickly. Would love to return again one day.

We spent nearly a week at the Foz Surfcamp. We took surfing lessons nearly every day. The last day was cancelled due to bad weather, but it was easy to find something else to do. Our kids learned faster than us, but we also loved it as much as they did. Catarina, Martin and their team were great hosts and were always willing to help with anything we needed. I can really recommend the surfcamp and the surfing school, it was such a great experience!

We booked a surflesson but the only thing they taught us was the take off even if we told them that we already had two weeks of surf experience. The explanation wasn't that good either. The English knowledge of the instruktors was really basic, but they tried their best. We had to drive to the beach by ourselfs which ch isn't really a problem but they could've told us before. They told us that the waves would be great but when we were at the beach we were a little disappointed. Even when we told the instructor that we wanted to surf bigger waves in another part of the beach they "ignored" us and didn't seem very interested. So all we did was surfing on whitwashes what can be nice too but when I pay for a surflesson I want to get challenged. How am I supposed to learn otherwise? The gear was great and I think for beginners it would've been very nice but my experience here was rather bad l. Wouldn't recommend for people with more than a week of surf experience. The price would be ok for a surflesson but as is said we had to drive ourselfs and didn't learn anything new.

Wonderful surf camp to stay and the best surfing lessons I ever had! We all made really fast progress :) Catarina and Martim are two very welcoming hosts and I felt like at home from the very first minute! I will definitely come back soon.

We have been to Foz 3 times now and our kids love Martim's lessons. They started as beginners 3 years ago and are now able to catch waves on their own. I took 2 lessons as well this year and really enjoyed it. All the instructors are very friendly, helpful and speak English. They are able to give lessons at all levels and adapt to the group. Lessons are given in small groups, where even beginners feel really safe. If you are at intermediate level, they'll challenge you a bit more to make it nice for everybody. We strongly recommend these lessons, we have never been disappointed by Martim's surf school (we have had bad experiences at other places!!!). Hope to be back soon!
