The products are, in general, of quality well above what can be found. Of note is the wood used for the smokehouse. The favorites are the alheira and the ham.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozinhei hoje um chouriço do borralho. Que coisa horrível! Parece feito de tabopan. Rijo, sabendo a papel amassado ou a serradura. Acho que nem carne deve ter. A ASAE devia ir ver essa confecção. Fiquei decepcionada.Foi todo para o lixo. Têm de ver bem isso. Não é coisa que se apresente no mercado e estão a denegrir o bom nome do fumeiro de Barroso. Fiz fotos, mas não dá para enviar por aqui. Lamentável. Que desgosto!
Today I cooked a chorizo sausage. What a horrible thing! It looks like made of tabopan. Stiff, knowing crumpled paper or sawdust. I don't think there should even be meat. ASAE should go and see that production. I was disappointed. It went to waste. You have to see that well. It is not something that appears on the market and they are denigrating the good name of the smoker of Barroso. I took pictures, but you can't send them here. Unfortunate. What heartbreak!
