★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tive a felicidade de visitar esta Galeria de Arte a propósito da exposição "Wildfire" de David Claerbout em 18 de Novembro de 2020.
O espaço é fantástico por várias razões: 1° A entrada é bastante intimista uma vez que se situa num túnel rebaixado e, ao entrar na sala principal, o visitante tem a sensação de libertação imediata; 2° Após algumas obras expostas e perfeitamente imerso no espírito do artista, surge uma antecâmara que aguça a curiosidade na continuação da história por contar; 3° a sala de vídeo com uma sequência totalmente imersa nessa força primordial que é o fogo e que antecedeu a vida na Terra.
Durante cerca de 20 minutos (1200 segundos) observei com resiliência a instalação vídeo & áudio em câmara lenta que deu tempo ao meu cérebro para uma reflexão absolutamente reveladora! Obrigado pela oportunidade sem a qual não teria jamais contactado com este trabalho.
I was fortunate enough to visit this Art Gallery regarding David Claerbout's "Wildfire" exhibition on 18 November 2020.
The space is fantastic for several reasons: 1 ° The entrance is quite intimate since it is located in a lowered tunnel and, when entering the main room, the visitor has the feeling of immediate release; 2 ° After some works exhibited and perfectly immersed in the artist's spirit, an antechamber arises that piques curiosity in the continuation of the story to be told; 3 ° the video room with a sequence totally immersed in that primordial force that is fire and that preceded life on Earth.
For about 20 minutes (1200 seconds) I watched with resiliency the video & audio installation in slow motion that gave my brain time for an absolutely revealing reflection! Thank you for the opportunity without which I would never have contacted this work.
