★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great crunchy “hotdogs”. Taste-wise they made me think of the hotdogs of the “blue-yellow furniture giant” in particular with the condiments, but the crunchier version. Go there to try it. Other sandwiches also great. Makes a great lunch or snack.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After watching Anthony Bourdain in Porto we had to try Gazela. We were not disappointed. We had a fino (small beer) with a cachorrino, a small dog with cheese, along with fries. The hot dog was tasty and the beer was a perfect pairing. The fries arrived first and we ate most while they were hot. Then our dogs arrived. We had to wait about 15 minutes for an outside table during lunch. We would go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just be clear on what you’re getting. Don’t expect substitutions or a shift in menu. I had a steak sandwich and the steak was well seasoned and nicely cooked. Fries were tasty and for a €15 lunch with wine it was a great deal. It’s not fine dining but it does what it says well.
