Worst company ever ... They moved our furniture from Porto to Kuala Lumpur. They said it would arrive on September 15. It's now due on November 3rd. Please don't use them or believe anything they tell you, they deceive people and by the looks of the previous comment we are not the only one.

They really take care of you as a client

We were moving to Portugal from Canada. I found Matco from the Canadian Movers Association and they were wonderful. Unfortunately it went downhill from there, due to Global international Relocation . Our container sat at the Lisbon port for just about 5 weeks. Our contact at Global, Paulo, was extremely non communicative. As soon as we arrived in Portugal, we went to his office to do the paperwork to ensure we didn’t hold up anything, he told us it should be released by the end of the week then we wouldn’t hear from him again. We emailed and called for updates, no response. A week or so later, He sent us an email saying that our container should be released in a day or two then we wouldn’t hear anything despite our emails and voicemails. A week later, He emailed and said they were going to inspect it but he should have the invoice for this and release in the next day or so, then nothing , no matter how politely we requested updates, we asked if the container was inspected, no response, (it wasn’t inspected) there were no replies . We had to get Matco involved, and once again Melanie was awesome, even trying to deal with it over thanksgiving weekend. We were told by the Global manager Ricardo, that they had invoiced Matco 2 months ago , and nothing was paid. so before our stuff arrived? Really? Apparently there was a problem with transmitting the funds from Canada but Global did not tell Matco that the funds had not been received so we waited. Melanie was told that she couldn’t speak to Paulo, only to email him but he never responded to emails. My husband would call, leave messages, no response, he finally was able to speak to Ricardo who told us that the money had not been received, we immediately called Melanie and she dealt with it. Global could have improved their service by responding to anxious customers, provide updates and they should have notified Matco that the money had not been received. International transfers can be difficult as I am sure they are aware. We were living in our new home, sleeping on an air mattress, my 91 year old mother in law was sleeping on a couch, you can imagine how stressful this was and then not being able to get updates or at least be acknowledged is unbelievable. Our possessions finally arrived and the offloading crew were awesome, they helped me in English and got us offloaded in an excellent amount of time. We wish we could give Global a minus 10 star, they would only get that high due to their awesome unloading crew.

Did a very good job. Helped throughout the entire process of importing our belongings. Personnel was excellent and responsive. On the day of moving, the staff was helpful and friendly. Everything went smoothly, which is not obvious in this kind of moving.

We have being recommended all our clients to Global and I can say that there is not a single one complaining about anything. For sure we will keep recommending your services! Keep the excellent work!

this was the WORST possible experience possible. EVERY, but EVERY step went wrong. Extra costs, time, expenses. Beyond a case study, a horror story !! How can they even exist ??? only one star because it´s not possible to post with zero stars
