Nice and friendly people, very nice and comfortable car. Vanessa is a great person, she picked us up whenever we needed to. The experience is formidable, Portugal is a very well prepared place for camping. Highly recommend and will do it again for sure.

We werden van de luchthaven opgehaald en kregen daar in de buurt de camper.
Mogelijkheid om een digitaal kastje voor tolwegen te huren hebben we aangenomen en werkte goed.
Ook in de camper was alles op orde, hele fijne vakantie gehad.
Camper teruggebracht bij GoFree, we werden naar de luchthaven gebracht.
Nice contact with Vanessa.
We were picked up from the airport and got the camper nearby.
We accepted the possibility to rent a digital box for toll roads and it worked well.
Everything was in order in the camper as well, had a very nice holiday.
Camper dropped off at GoFree, we were taken to the airport.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fazem uma manutenção deficiente no interior das caravanas. Aluguei o mesmo veículo com 8 meses de intervalo e a mesa de refeições continuava solta, tremendo e fazendo imenso barulho o caminho todo. Noutra caravana a bomba de água deixou de funcionar logo no início da viagem
They do poorly maintained inside caravans. I rented the same vehicle 8 months apart and the dining table was still loose, shaking and making a lot of noise the whole way. In another caravan the water pump stopped working right at the beginning of the trip

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ En cuanto a la camper, nos dejo de funcionar el agua caliente, y les llamamos pero no hubo respuesta alguna, la vajilla, mucha publicidad pero daba un poco asco, la mesa inestable y no encajaba bien, en cuanto al servicio por parte de la propietaria, no nos explico ni la mitad de cosas como donde estaban los tacos ni la manguera. Nos quedamos atascados, y tras hacer varias llamadas al seguro nos dicen que no tenemos el servicio para que nos sacasen , pues llamamos a la propietaria y literalmente nos dijo que SUERTE!!, en general, sin duda alguna no volveré a alquilar aquí, ni recomiendo.
Quanto ao trailer, a água quente parou de funcionar, a gente chamava mas não atendia, os pratos, muita publicidade mas era um pouco nojento, a mesa estava instável e não cabia bem, em termos de serviço do proprietário, ela não explicou metade das coisas para nós, como onde estavam os tacos ou a mangueira. Ficamos presos, e depois de fazer vários telefonemas para a seguradora eles nos dizem que não temos o serviço para nos tirar, pois ligamos para a proprietária e ela literalmente nos disse SORTE !!, em geral, sem dúvida eu não vou alugo aqui de novo, nem recomendo.
As for the camper, we want to work and the hot water, and we call for more in the hubo answer some, la vajilla, a lot of publicity but it gives a little disgust, the table is instable and does not fit bien, while the service from it owner, I don't explain to us ni la mitad de cosas as where the tacos were estabano ni la manguera. As for the trailer, the hot water stopped working, we called but didn't answer, the dishes, a lot of publicity but it was a little disgusting, the table was unstable and didn't fit well, in terms of the owner's service, she didn't explain half of the things for us, like where were the clubs or the hose. We got stuck, and after making several phone calls to the insurance company they tell us we don't have the service to get us out, because we called the owner and she literally told us LUCK!! , nor recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ainda não tinha tido esse tipo de experiência com motorhomes, mas foi muito prazeroso ter liberdade de ir onde queria sem estar se prendendo em hotéis. O atendimento do pessoal, especialmente a Maria, foi excelente! Saudades de Portugal!
I hadn't had that kind of experience with motorhomes yet, but it was very pleasant to have the freedom to go where I wanted without being stuck in hotels. The service from the staff, especially Maria, was excellent! I miss Portugal!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot recommend this company and its services to anyone. This is the first time I have ever written a bad review and doing so gives me no pleasure . In short: we have gotten a malfunctioning van and what followed was a nasty dispute which resulted in the company keeping our money AND their van. Their “customer service” included delays, shouting, and very aggressive behavior, which ended up ruining our trip and incurring many expenses. Huge disappointment and I will never return, for sure.
We booked two caravans with the company in advance for five nights, and it was delivered to us (one for us, one for another family of friends) appropriately in Montijo/Palmela. As I was driving it back to our apartment in Lisbon, after about 30 minutes of driving, a repugnant metallic / electrical burning smell, (likely arising from the clutch) filled the cabin. I pulled over and parked in the first available position (less than 2 min of driving with the smell) and called the number I was given for emergencies. It took nearly 20 minutes before I managed to get an answer from the “hotline”, and more than 1.5h before someone arrived to assist.
Here started a strange chain of events: the people who came to check the van noticed the strong smell immediately, even though the van was parked for nearly 2h, with its engine off. On arrival they stated that “there’s clearly a problem with the van” and that “the van was not in proper condition for driving”. They then called a “mechanic” who said that the smell would “come and go” and “it’s totally fine to drive like this”. So now their disposition switched to “the van is fine”. I affirmed that, given that the van had not been actually inspected by the mechanic and that the horrid smell persisted, I cannot agree and will not drive a van which may be unsafe or may fail later. Driving with a crazy metallic smell is not how we imagined our vacation. They actually agreed again that this was clearly not a way to drive.
The company said that they could *maybe* find a van for the next day; we couldn’t wait that long. They suggested that a van may be available later that day, but that I would have to pick it up again from Palmela which would have induced a further large delay which we could not afford. I therefore made it clear that under these conditions, we will just take our car and join our friends rather than get delayed by a full vacation day. The two Gofree people on site agreed that this was the reasonable thing to do. I asked to just confirm with my wife (that we won’t be able to pick up the van the next day) and let them know.
However, about an hour later, I received phone calls and text messages from the company saying something like “we are waiting for you to decide: do you want the [malfunctioning] van or not?”. I replied that, as we spoke, I will definitely not be taking the malfunctioning van and confirmed that we cannot pick up another one the same day as it was too late. A little while later still, I received another text message along the lines of: “we cannot refund you for the full amount”. I replied that we are perfectly willing to pay for the one day we had the van at our disposal and also offered to pay the gas for the 32km driven.
A representative then called me, and started literally shouting at me, saying the van was “totally fine” and that we are at fault for not wanting to continue driving it. I told her that even her own people agreed that it was un-drivable and that that’s why they took it back(…!). She became very aggressive and literally shouted at me: “excuse me, are you a mechanic? Do you understand anything about vans?”. Later emails said something along the line "refunding you is off the table" (they later offered to refund us for one day out of the five).
Bottom line: They provided us with a malfunctioning van, poor support, couldn’t provide us with a viable alternative, but they kept our money without providing the service. We will indeed have to pursue our refund in court, unfortunately. Huge disappointment.
