★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were offered sardines from the house, to Taste (pour dégouter, he explained in bad french), but they were on the Bill. Even thé butter and thé sardines spread had toen begon played separately The mussels we're not good, vertrek smalle, not fresh, with one film off mud, so not properly cleaned. The chef explained Well in French, but enforced a bit to take a pictures with him.
Although this restaurant was proposed in a touristic guide, we will bever return, felt cheated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic location next to the fishing port in Olhao. Great local Portuguese fish to die for, washed down with local Portuguese white wine. Brilliant service. The owner is a local celebrity who was born and brought up in Olhau. Very well recommended. A must try for all fish lovers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was excellent but very expensive due to no price on fish ...based on weight ..but that is the choice you make I guess ! ...Beware of added bread , olives and traditional starters added to bill , most expensive starters (couvert ) I have ever had in The Algarve. You can always say 'no couvert' and they will take away. Loved looking out at the ocean though .Lovely setting. Would recommend to go for Cataplaba between 2 ..price was €40 and at least you know what you will be charged.
