★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I enjoyed a whole week in August 19 at the guest house Victoria, staying in the women 7-beds-dormitory. Of course it's not always super quiet but it allows you to meet a lot of nice people. Jose watch over his guest somehow like a father and makes sure that the rules are respected (e.g. no shower between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.) and stay quiet.
The hostel is overall clean and offers enough commodity for a comfortable stay.
I recommend this hostel and will surely come soon again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner threatened us with outrageous tickets if we were to make any noise after 11 pm, eventhough our neighbours were partying until sunrise. The owner came by every day unannounced to 'check up' on us. This was very unpleasant and I will not come back here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed here for a week in August with some friends, the owner was a jackass who did not return our deposit. There are camera's all over the property and the owner comes by every day. No privacy whatsoever. None of us will come back here again and I cannot recommend anyone else to book it either.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 11-16 august 2021. We were in this house with friends and the host kept bothering us. Early in the morning he just walked into the house without announcing himself and without any reason. A few times a sat with my friends in the garden, during daytime, and he just stood there outside of the garden watching us. On top of that, he kept calling us and bothering us with cases that were none of his business. The host was constantly controlling us and spying on us. This is not the kind of stress and hassle you wan't on your vacation. On top of that, the house looks nothing like the pictures. It seems very big but it isn't. The furniture is old and the kitchen was dirty when we arrived. On top of that he didn't give our deposit back, eventhough nothing broke and we left the place clean. Still till this day no reason has given. The price and quality is heavily out of balance. I would definitely NOT recommend this house, and most certainly not this host.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been here with a large group for a week but unfortunately have had very bad experiences with the owner. He came into the garden twice unannounced and then angrily shouted that the garden was 'a big mess' without even being open to our side of the story.
On the second to last day, he called the person responsible for the booking about 8 times (at +- 8:30 in the morning) and two hours later he was suddenly in the middle of the living room. The living room was messy but we still had a day to clean it all up and we would do that. Then we were thrown out without any empathy from the owner, he was even laughing with the upstairs neighbours. We tidied up everything of our own accord and left the house how it was in the beginning when we first entered it. He is still refusing to return our deposit and the money from the last evening. Scandalous!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has very bad accomodations for its price, the beds are uncomfortabel and the showers don't work properly and the kitchen is only for show. Besides that, there are camera's on the property and the owner comes by daily, he is everything except friendly.
Cannot recommend this place to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been in this house for a week with a group and it was the worst experience ever. The owner was not professional at all, basically a person who rents the place for groups but he is not prepared for that, since he expects that there is not even the normal noise and dirt for a house with 25 persons.
He called everyday the person responsible for the booking with no reason, entered the house several times with nobody's authorization. Before our stay ends, the group was thrown out for no reason, and we left the house completely cleaned. The owner kept the deposit and the money from the last night and refuses to give it back. I don't recommend this house at all!
