A nice bar, English staff with plenty of English TV and Sports. Good prices, particularly wine and beer with generous cocktails for $6.
If you need to reconnect to Britain you wouldn't find anywhere better in Caveiro / Carvoeiro

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of confusion between reception and the restaurant regarding reservations. Arrived at the restaurant to be asked if we had made a reservation, we explained our experience regarding reservations. We were placed on a high wooden table and stools and advised once a more suitable seating area became available we would be moved. Lots of comings and goings and we remained at the most uncomfortable seating area, even though we expressed our views. Service was very slow. I asked for our table to be cleaned this never happened. I had to request cutlery. I had prawns which came with no hand wash. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands to discover there had been a leak so I was unable to wash my hands, which after peeling prawns wasn't the best. A very expensive bill for an extremely poor service and food.
