M	Manel Sweetmore on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed our stay. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great breakfast with lots of traditional options and delicacies as well as eggs and bacon. Very relaxed atmosphere. Great grounds for hiking. Great restaurants with a short drive. Accommodations were great, clean functional and very secluded. Great romantic getaway. Massages and Spa were not what one would expect in a US resort. Small hike to rooms with luggage not ideal on unpaved surface - price of seclusion in a way. Overall would recommend the stay. Be sure to try restaurants Tasca de Celso and Varanda da Aldeia nearby

This was a most welcome change of the level of luxury. Every inch of the place is designed to make you feel welcome and relax, and the service is great.

P	Paulo Diogo Luz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent a couple of days during July and liked it very much! The overall look and feel of both the space and the rooms just invite you to relax! The lack of lunch (besides ordering some roasts and salad before 12) and also the lack of any kind of poolside service just takes the overall experience down a notch. The fact that sometimes there are families with kids also kills the “weekend escape” vibe that they try to sell. Overall it’s a solid place to spend a couple of nights, great food around and a very nice staff. A bit expensive for the lack of services that are included. Saying that will probably return :)
J	Jan Barchoń on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to spend your vacations. It’s located in the heart of a national park. The stay includes breakfast, access to two swimming pools, SPA and beautiful view on the mountains and a field of olive trees. I would definitely recommend!

It was such a pleasure to eat breakfast while looking at the mountains. The walking on the property is peaceful (with hilly options to get very good exercise! ), the pool is great. Our room had a private outdoor bath and we used it in the evening. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable. It is less than 10 minutes from the center of vila nova de millfontes. I would come back anytime
T	Tara on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Herdade do Amarelo has a luxurious Portuguese country vibe with soft mornings and celestial skies. The cheese and olive oil is divine and the best I've had. I adored the untapped air that smelled sweet like honey and sage and relished in the private jacuzzi and majestic views multiple times a day to unwind. Truly a unique and magical feel, I cannot wait to go back! The staff is incredible and provided fantastic restaurant recommendations in the near by village, Vila Nova de Milfontes (about a 7 min car ride away). Village has a beach too so you can get both the beach and the country feel all in one spot. Heavenly and recommend completely!
