Beautiful vineyard and excellent wines. Friendly staff and yummy eats. I recommend a Verde tasting with some charcuterie for a nice lunch.

Amongst many wineries in the Alentejo this is the best to visit. The farm is beautiful! during the visit we go from the planting of grapes to the underground storage of bottles. Great experience. Spend a few minutes sitting on the deck that overlooks the lagoon and thank you for being there! Has a restaurant that looks very good too

Fabulous food in a splendid setting. The herdade is beautiful, and the restaurant well placed to let you admire the views. Chef Pedro Pena Bastos serves organic tasting menus, with vibrant dishes that will surprise you with every bite. The wine pairings are a great way to find out about the Esporão wines. I personally was not aware they have such an amazing top range. I dare you to try the wine flight and not come out tipsy at the end :) Finish up with a little tour of the kitchen, and buy your favourite wines at the shop. Well worth the detour, or making it here just for the experience.

A day well-spent exploring the vineyards, winery, restaurant and gift shop. Incredible design and the most hospitable of staff.

Beautiful estate with vast acres of wine and olive trees. We had a 1.5hrs olive oil tasting/tour which first took us to the mill and afterwards to the tasting of three of their oils. Very good explanation in English and highly interesting for a daily consument of olive oil. It makes a nice day excursion from Evora, just add a visit to Monsaraz on the way back and it's perfect.

Nice place for an introduction to how wine is made or spend a sexy day with a loved one watching the tremendously attractive scenery while sipping in a glass of modern Alentejo wine. It is huge. There's a shop, a wine bar, a restaurant. Kilometers to walk if valiant enough. Guided tours with tasting is recommended.

Our experience was simply unforgettable. The cellars were quite impressive. But the best part--you have to do this--was having lunch at their restaurant. What a wonderful tasting menu! They change it every time, though, because they use only the freshest available. And speaking of freshness, we had THE best tomato salad ever. We will never forget how it looked and tasted with beautiful and different organic tomatoes, and an exquisite lemon touch! Worth the visit! Note: we went back in 2019. ;)
