★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wine tasting in a great traditional place of a wine producing farm. Although it's not as glamorous as some other farms around, it became a very unique experience and we could count with the presence of a guide (Guida) wich was a wonderful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked the picnic at the vineyards through telephone. They told us to confirm the booking via e-mail, which we did. Unfortunately, the next mails did go into the anti-spam mail, so we were unaware of the fact, that there was a need to pay the picnic half in advance (on the phone she said nothing about it). They also did not note our telephone number, so they could not contact us. Very unprofessional.
Well, we were there at the time we booked. But noone was there for us. So we drove 2 hours for nothing, had no dinner and we were very upset. We called the vineyard again, and they told us, its not possible to do anything. For us it was very sad, a ruined evening.
This impudent behavior is unacceptable, they knew exactly that we were coming and let us down.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great experience visiting the winery today. Helena gave us a very informative tour, we saw the wine making process and tasted some great different wines. We also enjoyed the friendly welcome of the resident dog Cacau (who actually has a wine named after him) :-). We definitely recommend a visit when you’re in the area.
