★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This privately owned spa/wellness center is located in the centre of Alvor (Algarve) very close to Intermarche supermarket, Alvor Pharmacy and restaurants. They do manicures, pedicures, facial treatments and massages. I had a sports massage and a relaxation massage. Both were excellent. The sports massage is not for the faint hearted and can be very painful - it really is for those used to a very strong and deep massage. The relaxation massage is blissful: the masseur uses essential oils in this full body massage.
They opened only a month ago and at the moment (Aug 2020) have a number of promotion with very attractive prices. From a hygiene perspective, all measures are in place. The premises are impecably clean, you leave your shoes at the entrance and are asked to put on some slippers or enter the shop bare foot. You need to wear a mask inside the premises and will be asked to wash your hands with soap and water on arrival and when leaving the premises. All equipment is individual and/or thourougly desinfected. For drop ins, normal working hours are from 10 am to 7:30 pm. However, you can make appointments from 8 am to 8 pm pm. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An exceptional experience where my husband and I repeated the treatments during our holidays. We left very satisfied, Maria is a great professional and Beatriz too, they have incredible strength and mastery in their hands. They are very kind and making us always feel like at home. I received an excellent facial treatment and meanwhile all my questions were answered. Furthermore, my husband got a rehabilitation of two toes thanks to the therapeutic masage, and received instructions on how to perform exercises to improve the recovery of them. María transmits vocation and everyone can check her qualifications as a masseur, beautician, and teacher. We strongly recommend it. We will repeat it because it is a place from which you come out renewed. María and Alfonso.
