The best club I've ever been

I’ve paid thousands of Euros to this gym over the many months that I’ve been a member. I enjoy being a member but what frustrates me and will make me look for another gym is their 10 Euro charge for the loss of my membership card. It doesn’t cost 10 euros to replace a card and many gyms now have progressed where you can sign in digitally or with a barcode.

My family and I visited Cascais for 1 month. I signed my 2 big kids up for swim lessons here. They loved it. I loved it! Such a beautiful facility and excellent customer service. We worked a lot with Sofia Ferreira. She was so prompt at getting back with me to make this trip to Cascais successful. Such a wonderful person to work with. If we come back next year we will definitely come back to Holmes place.

Be very careful when you Buy Day Pass... Maneger will try to rip you off.. Bought day pass for sauna Steam and Jacuzzi... And they're out of service Maneger told me he will give a refund Couple of minutes after offer 50% refund and at the end he told me that ive been informed about the sauna and steam wasn't working... Thieves...

We are staying in the Hotel Cascais Miragem, and this is the “hotel gym”. Amazing gym facilities, the best gym in a hotel I have ever seen, multiple studios, spinning room, reformer Pilates room, dozens of treadmills/bikes/cardio machines, lots of weights machines, big free weights area. Top class

Nice gym. A staff member approached me while doing weights and asked me to remove my hat/cap as against policy? Would love to know the reasoning behind this policy as I’ve never been told that before in a gym....... ?

Great facilities and I believe they take advantage for being the only nice gym in the area. When I joined, mentioned that I might need to pause my membership for work at some stage and was told it was possible. (now they claimed they spoke with the person I signed up with, even though the name they mentioned is not correct, I've never heard of that person and said that I've misheard the conditions, like really? It's my fault? I've been gaslighted before but never by and institution! Lol) Not even 2 months using the gym, had to travel for work for 3 months and asked if I could pause for at least 2 as I do undertand the last minute request and was trying to be reasonable and was told it was not possible and had to tell them in advance (which I did, I gave as much advance as I had had myself). Now I will pay for 3 months I wont use the gym (more time that I have actually used) and "there is nothing they can do" unless is a health issue. This is ridiculous, it's the first gym that I have been that is so unflexible and not understanding. Even the countryside small gym I used to go in Ireland was understanding and they had so much more money to lose than Holmes place. Very interesting that when they want your money they will call you NON STOP. And that is not even all the calls I got of them hunting me for services, nutrition, spa etc. But when a client needs a bit of human understading they are not so nice and welcoming anymore. I'm beyond dissapointed and myself and my husband will look for another place as soon as our unfortunate 1 year contract expires. The photos only show the calls I got from one of their numbers, nevermind when they call you from their own mobile. Never experience such a hunt to try and sell services, but such a lack of empathy when the client needs. Disgraceful. Overpriced. Desperate.
