★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent staff (Helder is always willing to help), and very honest, perfect location for good inexpensive restaurants and beach but the hotel is very dated, a lot of things don't work (closet doors, plumbing) and the beds are very hard. You get what you pay for.

good:
Pool however with freezing water
Decent breakfast
Stunning views from higher floors and quite private balconies
Very nice stuff members and night security
After complaining about painful mattress they changed it swapping from another room within 10 minutes!
Easy free parking around the hotel
Beach within 30sec walk
Bad:
Unpleasant very dated bathroom
Very dated and uncomfortable bed making horrible sound every time you move with the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever witnessed
Double rooms way smaller than Twin rooms
Not changing towels or beddings every day
Room we were given wasn’t cleaned properly. Lots of hair on the floor :(
One lift which causes significant waiting times during breakfast hours

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have stayed in this hotel maybe 20 times in total , I have a good no nonsense system whether early flight or lazy 2 day stay, I cannot honestly say that my stay always been fulfilling and good.Breakfast is very good,good walk to beach 200 yds,And the value for money if you book direct with hotel the have own website.
