★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looking at previous reviews I did hold out much hope that this hotel would be very good but was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is lovely, the rooms are very basic, literally bed and drawer space but thats to be expected for the price. The place is very clean and tidy and the rooms are kept at a good standard. The staff were very nice and friendly. Regarding the noise, we have pool view room (thankfully other rooms literally on the strip) the party scene goes on until around 5am/6am depending on the day so can imagine you will have little/no sleep in a strip facing room. The noise in the pool facing room was tolerable, all you mainly here is the bass so if you need silence to sleep this is definitely not the place for you. There are a lot of 'club goers' that stay here due to the location so you do get people shouting around at gone midnight but most of the time dealt with by staff if too excessive. The pool is lovely although trying to get a sun bed can be a challenge, people like to reserve them in the morning so if you want a pool day best get down there nice and early. The breakfast was ok, basic continental, was all thoroughly cooked so cant complain. Hotel could do with updating but for you get what you pay for, a fridge would be very helpful in the room to keep drinks cool. Other than that its a good hotel for cheap holiday away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved this hotel, the pool view was definitely worth it. My issue was that you could hear everything going on in the rooms around you, especially toilets flushing. Luckily most people were quiet so I was still able to get a good night's sleep. I loved being able to walk down to the beach and you couldn't hear anything from the nightclubs outside

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good so far. Here on a Stag weekend. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean, beds firm, shower has plenty of room. Bar staff very pleased to see our party. Pool chilly but it's the first weekend of the tourist year. Good value.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little hotel with a good swimming pool, and the best is the location, if you want to go out for dinner then some drinks and some dancing, the hotel is right on the Albufeira strip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the "Tennis" apartments are in very bad condition, bad smell, old furniture, horrible doors, dirt (hairs, spider nets etc), lamps/bulbs just hanging off from the wall etc. These apartments should not be rented out to people until they are renovated and meet the standards of the 21st century. One of my worst experiences of an accomodation. Only book those if you're really desperate and you don't have any expectations. Also be prepared that if your room is facing the streets then you will not be able to sleep bc of the nearby clubs, people shouting on the streets or cleaning of the streets with machinery at 7am. The last statement is not the fault of Belver, but all the other things I mentioned makes me quesiton the way the do business. The reasons I'm not giving 1* is the good wifi, free breakfast and that the pool was nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel looks nice, but can't comment.
We stayed in one of the apartments, old, rundown, not cleaned, bed sheets where dirty. Bed were uncomfortable and creaky.
The only positive was the door on the way out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would score 0 if I could. The first night or two were fine however things swiftly took a turn. We were without electricity for two days which in itself is wholly unacceptable but off the back of this, we were unable to charge/use appliances, the room was in complete darkness and the air conditioning (which in itself is very poor) would not work. This made the room absolutely unbearable to sleep in and led to us sleeping on the couches in the reception area. When we tried to complain to staff and asked to be moved they completely dismissed us and told us we could go somewhere else if we weren’t happy. We requested to speak to the hotel manager who very conveniently seemed to never be there. Right before we left we did manage to speak to him and he wasn’t any more helpful than anyone else, actually maybe even worse (he answered a call right in the middle of me raising my concerns with him) After paying €1148.12 for a room the whole experience is completely unacceptable. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel to even my worst enemy. An absolute shambles save your money and go somewhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived with a tour group and as quickly as we arrived we left. Disgusting! Dirty, beds gross, one of the people in our group went out on the patio and there was puke all on the outside of the door, black mold everywhere, another couple had stains on their sheets. It was noisy and just a cheap party hotel. Never to return.
