T	Tânia M. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutamente encantador! A atmosfera transporta-nos para toda uma outra era que combina com a simpatia extrema e disponibilidade da família que gere o hotel. O Covid não foi qualquer problema. Os meus pais apresentaram os certificados e eu em quinze minutos tinha o teste feito (confortavelmente instalada num espaço afastado dos outros hóspedes) e estava pronta para receber as chaves. Os detalhes e a história do sitio refletem-se em cada canto e a piscina exterior (com direito a serviço de bar) é muito agradável. Apesar dos avisos no wc da água quente poder demorar pela idade do edifício, não esperei mais que uns segundos para tomar um banho agradável numa das casas de banho já restauradas. Pelo que percebi, nem todas estão ainda atualizadas mas, com toda a certeza, tem o mesmo nível de higiene que encontrei na minha. Pontos bónus por ser animal friendly! Uma visita a repetir ? Absolutely charming! The atmosphere transports us to another era that combines with the extreme friendliness and availability of the family that runs the hotel. Covid wasn't any problem. My parents presented the certificates and in fifteen minutes I had the test done (comfortably settled in a space away from the other guests) and was ready to receive the keys. The details and history of the site are reflected in every corner and the outdoor swimming pool (with bar service) is very pleasant. Although the hot water warnings on the toilet may take a while due to the age of the building, I didn't wait more than a few seconds to take a nice shower in one of the restored bathrooms. From what I understand, not all of them are up-to-date but, for sure, they have the same level of hygiene as I found in mine. Bonus points for being animal friendly! A visit to repeat ?

Para quem gosta , recomenda se A place that is not to my liking , nothing against it , it is just not to my liking . For the rest , a hotel that draws back to ancient times , ambient music in the bar ... For those who like it , we recommend it

O "Staff" super atencioso e eficaz, limpeza 5, máximo sossego, serviço básico de "catering" mas excelente e económico, €, abundante pequeno almoço em horário alargado, evitando ajuntamento de hospedes. Ambiente familiar. Bom estacionamento, localização central, junto do parque das termas. O hotel dispõe de bicicletas para passeios. Recomendo, para estadia tranquila e fim de semana, quando há piano bar. Quartos equipados para quem tiver mobilidade reduzida. Os WC são novos. É um hotel "animal friendly", embora só tenha visto uma cadela muito dócil. Como não servem grandes refeições, dão-nos indicações de restaurantes bons e localização perto, ex: (Mercado da Aldeia). è uma experiencia a repetir, de preferência no quarto nº 7 onde foi gravada a série A Espia. Stay for just two nights, in a hotel full of history and stories that the owners were kind enough to share with me and took me back to the spa holidays. The staff is super attentive and efficient, 5 cleaning, maximum peace of mind, basic catering service but excellent and economical, €, abundant breakfast with extended hours, avoiding the crowding of guests. Family atmosphere. Good parking, central location, next to the spa park. The hotel has bicycles for touring. I recommend it for a quiet stay and on the weekend, when there is a piano bar. Rooms equipped for those with reduced mobility. Toilets are new. It's an "animal friendly" hotel, although I've only seen one very docile dog. As they do not serve large meals, they give us indications of good restaurants and location nearby, eg (Mercado da Aldeia). It is an experience to repeat, preferably in room number 7 where the series A Espia was recorded.

F	F A on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A charming vintage 1920s hotel. This is an experience like stepping back in time. The hotel looks just as it might have done when it opened in 1922, full of antique furniture, paintings and ceramics, most of which are on display in the public areas. There is a pleasant garden at the rear of the hotel providing for relaxation, and there is a swimming pool too. Some evenings there is live music, and a piano player turned up one evening I was staying there. The library and bar area all add to the vintage atmosphere of this charming hotel.

This place is a true gem! A sight for sore eyes. I’ve been here a few years ago, for drinks at the piano bar, and I’ve always said I would come back to spend the night. Finally I did. It’s so wonderful do stay in a place like this. And it’s all so good: the bed, the huge bathroom, the high ceilings, the marvelous decor, the music, the generous and delicious breakfast, the staff, the surroundings… EVERYTHING! Maria Joao, the owner, goes above and beyond to make you feel at home… at a hotel! One doesn’t see this kind of treatment anymore. And there’s a quiet pool :) So… if you’re looking for something TRUE in every way , this is the place. I will most definitely return, to stay longer and explore every corner of this beautiful vintage hotel.
