★ ★ ★ ★ ★ not easy to find this place. I thought it should be a big hotel, but looks like a hostel. No lift and 2 squre meters toilet with a big noise fan. On booking, its said there is a parking lot nearby. Here “Nearby” means driving in one way road for 15 mins. The price is higher than agreed. What a shame on this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is amazing! Welcoming and affordable. We needed a hotel for one night and had no reservations and they took us in and even scheduled a cab to the airport the next morning. Great resource in Porto in the heart of the arts district. Stay here if you can!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1 there is no a paid parking lot as they advertised. You have to drive at least 10 minutes to a so-called ‘public parking area’. Cost you €7.5 to spend the night. The doorman couldn’t speak English at all.
Be careful about the one-way access nearby.
2 We were arranged at the top floor(3rd), which was actually a garret. You can see the clouds moving while lying on the bed, and hearing the raindrops all night long. Yes. The rain was beating on the window pan.
3 No elevator.
4 near the city center. Perhaps worth two stars?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location very central to shops and nightlife a few minutes walk. very friendly staff, lovely garden out the back to sit and breakfast was very well prepared. Only a slight issue with very thin walls so we could hear talking etc from next room early in the morning. Not a huge deal and it didn't spoil our stay here. Luís was very helpful. Would stay again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived at the hotel and found it to be on a footpath street. Lovely area to have access to everything in the city. Step out your door and stores, cafes, restaurants and lively activity is everywhere. Our room was upgraded and wound up with a view of the back gardens that were so beautiful. The sunsets while we were there were incredible. Don't forget to stroll the gardens and maybe have a few moments with one of the kitties!
