★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Due to circumstances beyond my control I needed a hotel fast late in the evening 10pm. So on a wild guess I tried Parque Das Laranjeiras and it was great! I think it has a 3 star rating but I would say it borders to 4 star! The reception was very helpful (4 star service), the beds were good, the shower was nice and the room was equipped with a minibar. The housekeeping was outstanding (traveling with a baby so things got messy). Breakfast was included and was fine for us but no english breakfast (low season maybe). So far it is good but what made it great for us was the late check out (noon) and the price (that really was 3 star).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredibly well presented hotel, lobby and dining room look incredible! It's a shame that the rooms aren't up to the same standard. The rooms are clean and the bathroom is well equipped however they're just a bit plain , the beds are nothing to write home about either. But for the price it's an above average hotel with nice balconies and a good location

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed for 4 nights early April. We were welcomed and allowed access to our room at 9am even though the book in time is 3pm. The rooms are basic but I dont mean that in a derogatory way. We use them as a base and are out and about when on holiday. We were able to charge our phones and devices, the beds were extremely comfortable, air con either hot or cold as it was a bit fresh of a morning. Bathroom was immaculate as was the room. Cleaned daily and towels changed.
Hosts were fabulous, polite, kind, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel has really lovely quirky decor and we would highly recommend. Breakfast was a good choice too. Leaving at 7am the host offered us early food at 6.30am.
€420 for 2 adults, 2 children bed and breakfast for 4 nights, bargain price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had to book into this hotel quickly but we made the right choice the hotel is beautiful it's very clean and Juan is friendly. Gigantic chess set if you love chess. Very cozy and warm.
