★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast with homemade breads, parking lot, very clean rooms. Excellent stop prior to Costa Nova or Porto. We were disappointed that Porto hotels were so expensive, but that all went away when we had a lovely stay at Santiago and could explore this area in the morning (gorgeous!) in addition to Porto.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's quite good place but it has a big problem: sloooow elevators. You may wait like 15 minutes to get a free elevator.
Edit: *It was NOT due to someone blocking the elevator - it was really due to the slowness and stopping at every floor even though no-one could get in because it could only be used by one family at a time*
