★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Situated right next to Sever river and near Marvão castle you'll certain have a good time. I ordered codfish and it was very well served. Also had local beer which was even better. The service was, however, a bit slow despite not being one of those chaotic days.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came to this restaurant for lunch because a friend recommended. The menu is pretty impressive and the service is good but I think that the food is terrible. The soup wasn’t hot, the lamb was too salty and the omelette I ordered was tasteless and overdone. Didn’t have luck here...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointing experience. The wine was not as advertised in the menu and the waiter tried convincing us it was, taking us for fools. We ordered wild rabbit with miscaros (a type of mushroom), but the meat was uncooked and nearly inedible. The flavour of the miscaros could not be found because the sauce was dominated by the pepper and tomato. Moreover, the rabbit came with blunt oil-soaked fries, tasteless really. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant Sever takes its name from the neighboring river. It has a large shade filled patio outside where it is cool and refreshing. We had the lamb with chestnuts, the rabbit with mushrooms, the hare rice and pork cheeks. The food was very good, the staff busy but attentive, and the place is visited by a lot of foreign customers too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent commodities and amenities. The breakfast is highly recommended. It has some local products such as cheese and bread. The hotel is technologically more advanced that others in the region. disadvantages: the parking lot has not well defined car spaces and rooms don't have a proper closet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning restaurant next to a river. The waiter was really nice en always helpful and comes with great suggestions. They have a great menu with lots of local dishes and grill. We even went here twice during our stay, which we would normally would not do on holiday. Really good wine!
