N	Nik Niks on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a nice hotel with great facilities and great location but it is a big shame that some staff (reception, restaurant, spa) were rude and not helpful. The room I stayed felt stuffy with dust and the WiFi was bad. If you are planning to stay at this hotel, you should bring your own amenities. The breakfast served was always the same with no variety and the food temperature was on the cold side. A good hotel is made by good staff not only good facilities and location. I hope they improve their customer service.

R	Raymond Chenon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed in Ericeira one night during its peak season in August. All the other hotels were fully booked. Only Hotel Vila Galé had bedrooms left. For 182.54 EUR, a very basic room and breakfast included, not many travelers will come. For that price, I will get luxury hotels in major Portuguese cities. The room walls were thin, you can hear the TV from the neighbor. Our room was on ground floor, view on the parking. it is ironic, I took this hotel for the parking. But the parking was filled. Many cars were not even customers at the hotel. There is no check. If I had time, I would have loved to try swimming pools. All in all, price doesn't match for this quality level.

This hotel is full of history and the beautiful views from the balconies of the seaside rooms although on the spendy side are well worth the price. The breakfast and caring staff make a stay in this historical accomodations all the more worth it. The superb location and availability of parking also add to the deal. Do see if they can reset the WiFi, otherwise it may be a bit slow. You can feel the history in everything and that is the biggest value if staying in this place.
