A "Igreja da Páscoa" onde outrora era realizada a cerimónia do lava-pes entre outras exéquias pascais. Conserva no solo sepulturas numeradas. Very beautiful in its simplicity. A história da construção, no século XVI, do edifício da Misericórdia continua por fazer na sua totalidade, já que nos documentos da Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Vila Real não existe qualquer informação sobre o assunto. O nome do arquitecto responsável pelo risco e dos artistas que arremataram a sua construção permanecem até hoje desconhecidos. Esta situação, que se pode alargar para muita da história patrimonial de Vila Real, vai praticamente manter-se nos séculos XVII e XVIII. Nesta secção, analisamos as informações recolhidas nas fontes históricas, quanto às origens e às obras feitas ao longo do tempo no edifício, à aquisição e manutenção de peças da mais variada ordem, necessárias às funções da Igreja, à organização da Casa do Despacho, à própria Instituição em si, e ao que esta representava na sociedade onde estava inserida, descrevendo ainda o que se pode observar ao presente, quando visitamos o edifício.
