★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Localizada no interior da muralha do Castelo de Alandroal, trata-se da igreja matriz da Vila. A construção ter-se-á iniciado no séc.XIII, embora tenha beneficiado de diversas remodelações. Corresponde ao que seria de esperar, sem grandes elementos arquitetónicos ou decorativos de destaque, mas, ao que parece, bastante frequentada pelos paroquianos, embora talvez não tanto pelos visitantes, o que será explicável pela modéstia do seu interior.
Located inside the castle wall of Alandroal, it is the main church of the village. Construction will have started in the 18th century, although it has benefited from several renovations. It corresponds to what you would expect, without major architectural or decorative elements, but, it seems, quite frequented by parishioners, although perhaps not so much by visitors, which will be explained by the modesty of its interior.
