★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Igreja Paroquial de Santa Maria de Covas do Barroso é uma belíssima igreja em estilo românico-gótico, datável do século XIV. Sofreu, contudo, diversas intervenções, quer arquitectónics, quer devorativas. De destacar, no interior, as pinturas murais e o túmulo, com estátua jacente, de Afonso Antes de Barroso, datado de 1459.
 The Parish Church of Santa Maria de Covas do Barroso is a beautiful Romanesque-Gothic church, dating from the 14th century. However, it underwent several interventions, both architectural and devouring. Of note, inside, the mural paintings and the tomb, with a lying statue, by Afonso Antes de Barroso, dated 1459.
