 Sao Mamede Day is August 17th. The parish honoring its patron saint celebrates Mass with blessing of animals and helmets. A celebration that I advise to attend. To learn more about St. Mamede, see the Church page.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hadn't realised this was a church actually, we only used the benches in front as a pit stop. The building is lovely to look at! Have not been inside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful, peaceful church with a calming atmosphere. There are two trees on both side of the entrance door which makes you want to stand there and just look. There are also beautiful sculptures and figurines inside. Besides they provide hand sanitisers at the entrance of the church.
