We arrived to make one of the trails, but it was not taken care of in the paths (very overgrown).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful XVI-XVII century little church in this "forgotten" and beautiful mountain hamlet of Macieira de Alcôba. Highly recommend to take camera, but go early in the morning, walk around the sparsely populated village (40-50 people...), and have lunch at the old school transformed into a great restaurant full of local tastes (make reservation on the previous day). A visit to Macieira de Alcôba is guaranteed to fill your soul and stomach!
