Jorge de Almeida, bispo de Coimbra, nos inícios do século XVI. Apresenta três naves e cobertura de madeira, suportada por pilares espiralados com cabeceira tripla abobadada. No seu interior destaca-se uma imagem da Virgem do Ó e do Anjo da Anunciação.
Built at the end of the 11th century, the Church of Santa Maria da Alcáçova owes its current appearance to a profound intervention ordered by D. Jorge de Almeida, bishop of Coimbra, at the beginning of the 16th century. It has three naves and a wooden roof, supported by spiral pillars with a vaulted triple headboard. Inside, an image of the Virgin of Ó and the Angel of the Annunciation stands out.
