That was my daughter's wedding there. Also there they married my sticks and I was baptized. The church is beautiful and the arrangements it has created have created comfort.

Parish Church of the village of Lousã, I do not know its chronological origins, but a beautiful building of sacred art with gilded altar and next to a small chapel inside the building, large and spacious.

Building with undeniable beauty, it is much sought after by visitors to Lousã. Installed in the historic center of the village, it replaced the more modest church that preceded it, being built in modern and attractive lines. Its large interior, heavily decorated with religious motifs, has its apogee in the well-worked gilded altar. Its patron is S. Silvestre, and despite dating from 1882, it was only completed in 1921, with the construction of the Bell Tower.

Love Lousa and this area. Traditional Portuguese architecture and beautiful countryside. The Catholic church is worth a visit. The services are packed. My wish is to live there. It is rural, peaceful and safe. The licals are kind and pleasant.
