De destacar nas duas freguesias actualmente unidas Escariz São Mamede e Escariz São Martinho as interessantes e únicas decorações no interior das suas igrejas na época das suas festividades anuais que comemoram alem dos santos padroeiros as festas das colheitas no Outono, as ruas principais são decoradas com arcos coloridos e iluminados.
Decorações nos altares com frutos de todos os géneros e sementes, no exterior podem ser comprados produtos da época das colheitas alem de uma feira de gado bovino.
Small but beautiful church.
Of note in the two parishes currently joined by Escariz São Mamede and Escariz São Martinho are the interesting and unique decorations inside their churches at the time of their annual festivities that celebrate besides the patron saints the feasts of the harvests in the autumn, the main streets are decorated with arches colorful and illuminated.
Decorations on the altars with fruits of all kinds and seeds, outdoors can be bought products from the time of the crops besides a fair of bovine cattle.
