Beautiful church due to the gilt carving of the side chapels. For the rest, a little stripped down and modern stained glass look bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Igreja do Beato, bonita e imponente mas algo triste, também pelas poucas gentes que a usam em poucas ocasiões. Eu pensaria que o crescimento de Xabregas e Beato iria trazer mais dinâmica. Vamos ver se ainda vai acontecer. Esta zona tem muitas igrejas e conventos. Esta (não confundir com o Convento do Beato) Igreja do Beato faz parte do Convento do Grilo, aliás toda a zona se chama Grilo (calçada, rua, beco). Um sítio a descobrir e do qual se pode exigir mais, mesmo que não em termos religiosos.
Church of the Blessed, beautiful and imposing but something sad, also by the few people who use it in a few occasions. I would think that the growth of Xabregas and Blessed would bring more momentum. Let's see if it's still going to happen. This area has many churches and convents. This (not to be confused with the Convent of the Beato) Church of the Beato is part of the Convent of the Grilo, in fact the whole area is called Grilo (sidewalk, street, alley). A site to discover and from which one can demand more, even if not in religious terms.
