Decorre uma campanha de angariação de fundos para a preservação e recuperar alguns dos belos painéis. Quando a for visitar aproveite e assista à missa que porventura esteja a decorrer e respeite os fiéis e não use flash para a captação de imagens.
 A beautiful, grand and imposing Church, difficult to catch open so that we can visit.
There is a fundraising campaign to preserve and restore some of the beautiful panels. When visiting, take the opportunity to attend the mass that may be taking place and respect the faithful and do not use flash to capture images.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning church with and carved wooden interior, hand painted wooden ceiling and amazing atmosphere. Helpful volunteer was informative about this 17th century church. Sadly the balcony was off limits when I went. The locally made cinnamon cookies sold to raise funds to repair the roof are delicious. I went back for more before leaving.
