★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely brilliant. Seems to be lived but it's locals. Making this a true find for a tourist! Feels like a hidden gem has been discovered in this place. Small but lovely. Friendly staff. Super yummy traditional dish Francesinhas. A must try!

From someone who is a local to the original location of this dish, this definitely was a nice surprise and would certainly come back.
The cheesecake was also very nice!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped at this place which was filled with locals. We enjoyed their specialties, sandwiches with several types of meat, eggs, cheese, fries and especially the sauce. You really get a refill here. Sangria very tasty
Service was cool, prices all good as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very close to the main avenue, but still quiet. They have both internal and external seating. Staff spoke very good English and were really polite and attentive on the day I visited. I went for the Francesinha in Picante, which is the spicy version. It was really tasty and the spicy sauce went really well with it. I was offered more sauce by one of the staff during my meal. Fries were freshly cooked and crispy, definitely not from frozen. The portion was a really good size, I almost struggled to finish it all, luckily I skipped breakfast that morning. They have desert options as well which I didn't try on this occasion. Their coffee is superb, and I have to say special thanks to the man looking after me as I have accidentally spilled all my coffee just right after I got it and he cleaned my mess up and gave me another coffee free or charge. I really enjoyed the meal and the treatment I got, if I visit the town again I will definitely return for a other meal!
