★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a very good 4-star hotel, with a large outdoor swimming pool, tennis facilities, located in a very large and beautiful park. The small town of Cerveira is around two kilometres away, reserving being visited. Very good choice for a weekend or a vacation break.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice 4-star hotel with a friendly staff and good views of the river! The services and amenities are very good. Meals throughout the day are pretty good and served in a decently large variety. The WiFi intermittently cuts off and is slow sometimes..
Some activity spots inside the hotel campus include swimming pools and tennis courts. Free parking area for cars and buses...
All in all, was a great stay here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing time-out in this part of the country !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are some staff members that are not very nice, like insinuating that we would steal the towels...
Other staff members are super friendly and helpful.
In July/2020 the breakfast arrangement didn’t work, you had to go to a line to ask the staff for each item that you wanted, there were not trays, so it was a pain to get food and drink.
In August they changed it and you had a tray and you picked the food, using gloves, this was a lot easier

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t know why this hotel is so well rated especially at a price that is not a bargain for Portugal.
I feel like this building got confused on whether it wanted to be high end or low end. Some parts are really nice (the bathroom had a bidet) and others are like a cheap motel (the shower is tiny and the shower floor extremely slippery).
Highway noise is audible even with windows closed—see map photo.
The hotel restaurant’s dinner felt mediocre; even the hot food was cold ? and the fish was horribly over-cooked.
The bathroom sink reminds me of an airplane ✈️ or restaurant sink where the faucet is so close to the edge one can barely wash their hands—see photo of sink.
The mattress is the worst I’ve had after several weeks in Portugal: it crinkles and I can feel the springs.
The gym is tiny; four cardio machines and no weights nor pulleys—even the hotel staff doesn’t think it is much of a gym.
On the positive side ➕➕➕ ➕ hotel and dining staff are very nice, helpful, and friendly ? and the towels are soft.
