★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Diploma em inglês com erros gramaticais graves e grau da qualificação incorreto. Verifiquem os v/ diplomas que tenham sido emitidos, em inglês, pelo ISPGAYA para que não tenham problemas com empregadores e/ou instituições de ensino em países anglo-saxónicos. Cobraram-me 200 EUROS por um diploma que vale ZERO. Os erros gramaticais a que me refiro são:
1) No parágrafo que diz “(…) successfully completed the Graduate Degree in Tourism, IN January 28th 2004...”
A preposição IN só é utilizada neste contexto quando não há referência ao dia do mês (por exemplo, He completed his undergraduate degree IN 2004) mas no caso do dia ter sido mencionado a preposição ON aplica-se numa das três formas:
- He completed his undergraduate degree on the 5th of January, 2004
- He completed his undergraduate degree on January 5th, 2004
- He completed his undergraduate degree on the 5th day of January, 2004
2) No parágrafo que diz “This diploma is undersign…”
A forma verbal correta é UNDERSIGNED. O parágrafo deveria ler “This diploma is undersigned by BOTH the Institution President and School Director and has, upon THEIR signatures, the institution’s official stamp.”
3) No parágrafo que diz “(…) born to (…) and (…)”
Deveria ser “SON OF...” em vez de NASCIDO PARA...(dado que não é de todo comum).
No tocante ao nivel da qualificação, um ‘GRADUATE DEGREE’ é uma qualificação ao nível de Mestrado ou Doutoramento. O que deveria constar no diploma, tal como foi verificado pelo Governo Australiano (Australian Education International – NOOSR), era BACHELOR OF TOURISM. No mundo anglo-saxónico um “UNDERGRADUTE DEGREE’ é um “Bachelor’s degree” e um “GRADUATE DEGREE” é um MASTER’S ou Phd.
English diploma with serious grammatical errors and qualification level incorrect. Check the v / diplomas that have been issued, in English, by ISPGAYA so that you do not have problems with employers and / or educational institutions in Anglo-Saxon countries. I was charged 200 EUROS for a diploma worth ZERO. The grammatical errors I refer to are:
1) In the paragraph that says “(…) successfully completed the Graduate Degree in Tourism, IN January 28th 2004 ...”
The preposition IN is only used in this context when there is no reference to the day of the month (for example, He completed his undergraduate degree IN 2004) but if the day has been mentioned, the preposition ON applies in one of three ways:
- He completed his undergraduate degree on the 5th of January, 2004
- He completed his undergraduate degree on January 5th, 2004
- He completed his undergraduate degree on the 5th day of January, 2004
2) In the paragraph that says “This diploma is undersign…”
The correct verbal form is UNDERSIGNED. The paragraph should read “This diploma is undersigned by BOTH the Institution President and School Director and has, upon THEIR signatures, the institution’s official stamp.”
3) In the paragraph that says “(…) born to (…) and (…)”
It should be "SON OF ..." instead of BORN TO ... (since it is not at all common).
Regarding the level of qualification, a ‘GRADUATE DEGREE’ is a qualification at the Master or PhD level. What should appear on the diploma, as verified by the Australian Government (Australian Education International - NOOSR), was BACHELOR OF TOURISM. In the Anglo-Saxon world an “UNDERGRADUTE DEGREE’ is a “Bachelor’s degree” and a “GRADUATE DEGREE” is a MASTER’S or Phd.
