★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a decent large Portuguese style supermarket. You can do a weekly shop here no bother. It can get busy, but it stocks everything you might need and more. There is also a LIDL in Carmel do rainho about 10 miles away

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Is the only big grocery store in the beach, which don't dismish the fact that it is a nice place to make your grocery shopping. It's cozy, with a wide array of brands and variety of products and very clean and organized.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Let's first start with pricing – hugely much more expensive than any other supermarket in a 100km range. The same products, and even better quality, you find it 4 minutes away (5km) at any other market, including O Meu Super and you save on fuel. A purchase at Intermerché of €20 you may bet the same products for €15 or less.
Many prices aren't displayed on the shelves and when you get to the cashier you become surprised with product prices almost 20% more expensive than any other places.
Regarding COVID-19 protective measures, it's usually crowded with people just wandering around, narrow spaces where it's hard to keep a distance greater than 1m from another customer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I been generous with 1*. This is a nationwide supermarket they are literally everywhere.
Toilets were absolutely phiphy. No toilet seat, no tissue tiles broken. Hand wash basin no soap, no tissues. It's one of the worst supermarket toilets I ever been. No mango in store either...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really concerned about where this supermarket is heading, lots of empty shelves, deli counter for cheeses etc closed and cheeses just put on the cool shelf, café has closed and staff didn't even know if it was going to reopen. Fruit was poor and grapes etc were mouldy and still on display. If one type of business has done well during the pandemic, then it's supermarkets...but unfortunately not this one in my opinion
